Amazingly the cords of a Hungarian Puli coat are naturally formed.

The floor length flowing coats seen on show dogs, probably do not resemble those of a working puli.

The above cord shows the natural formation of the mat around the soft

puppy coat and the guide hair.

Cords come in different forms as the following photographs show.

The importance being that the coat be uniformly corded all over,

preferable tight, clean cords, separated down to the skin.
