This is a story from Pat in Ipswich regarding her Puli named Puli, submitted by Carol Pepper. A few days ago I took Puli into town. As we left the bank, we met an old friend. We decided to catch up on gossip over a coffee at a nearby pavement cafe. Puli, as usual strategically position himself knowing that passing folk would stop and make a fuss of him. A tall elderly man spotted Puli and, intrigued, came over and stood in front of Puli, gazing thoughtfully down at him. Without a word he took a few steps to Puli's left - then a few steps to his right, still gazing down at him. Puli just sat turning only his head to watch the man go from side to side. Customers at surrounding tables fell silent, watching, wondering what could happen. Totally oblivious that everyone was watching him, the man returned to Puli's front still looking down at him. Eventually he turned to me and, very politely, asked "Did you knit it yourself my dear?" The other customers nearly fell off their chairs with laughter.
