Pulioosha

Journey to me new home ...

My name is PULIANA. I am a white Puli puppy, and I live in the United States of America.

My mom wanted another Puli in the family. Her previous black Puli, Pulioosha, passed. She loved him very much. A Puli rescue told her that a white Puli puppy was in a shelter in the midwest USA. This Puli was ME. My new mom lives in the northeast USA----1,000 miles away.

After applying for my adoption, my mom told the other dogs in the family about me. Hunter, a yellow Labrador Retriever, and Molly, a Beagle, seemed happy to welcome another Puli into the family.

The shelter approved my adoption. Because I was so far away from my new home, the shelter took me to the airport to fly to my destination. I was transported in a large crate with a soft carpet for my comfort. My plane trip was 6 hours.

When I landed in northeast Pennsylvania, I was greeted by mom and friends, including joyful Delta Airlines personnel. Everyone was so happy to see me.

Puliana arrives at the airport.

The Delta Airlines personnel joyously bring her to me in her travelling case.

We walked to the car in the parking lot.

We left the airport terminal, and mom took me out of my traveling crate. I wore a pretty pink collar and leash. We walked to the car. It was good to exercise my legs after my long flight.

The car trip to my new home was exciting. I looked out the window and saw beautiful, majestic mountains and green, grassy valleys. When I was at the shelter, I was surrounded by flat plains----land that produced agriculture. This was quite a contrast.

When the car approached the driveway, I saw a big house and a fenced-in yard. I was at my new home. Mom walked me to the yard. It was a wonderful feeling. I was so happy and excited.

Puliana, who is now 25lbs with her "brother" Hunter a 125lb Yell0w Labrador

Retriever, in the yard at home.

Hunter is a registered therapy dog, and Puliana will also be trained as one

when she reaches the required age.

Then I went into the house to meet my canine family. Hunter and Molly greeted me warmly. They liked me. I finally had a new, loving family and a "forever" home.

Bye,

Puliana,

United States of America
