The Hungarian Puli Introduction Index

Frankly I loathe the tern "rescue", it conquers up thoughts of doors being banged down, people rushing in, someone becoming the savior of a young innocent puppy. There are of course agencies in our day and age, who will probably do exactly that, but it is the word not the action that somehow does not seem quite fitting in many re homing instances. Having written a few words careful consideration before buying a puppy, it has to be said there are many instances when fate plays a part and a dog has to be found another home do to unconsidered circumstances. Pulis are, in general, very adaptable. Adults who have been well cared for, will in time get used to different circumstances, living in a new home, with a new family. Often it is the lesser cared for animals, especially puppies, who can have serious problems. Should you seriously be thinking of giving a home to an adult Hungarian Puli, do all you can to find out as much of its background as possible. You need to know all of this, to be able to ensure the Puli is given the correct care and training to become a valid member of his new family. Again of course you and your family, want to take time to think over what you are taking on, before you commit yourself. Puppy Fact Files
